I'm So Excited!

I totally intended on writing the other day, but I opened the page, went blank, and got horribly sidetracked by the Today Show. But, better late than never, right?
I've been doing pretty well with my 2019 goals so far. Well, as well as I can with the constant battle I've had going with my guts for the last six years. Some days are complete shit and I've started doing nothing but laying around on those days, which was part of my goal to relax more. I've also accomplished a lot of things that needed to be done for a few weeks, as well as things that I just had extra time to do.
Now today, I really have nothing on my list except for this, my calendar for the next week, and a little bit of the social coaching I started in December....that I LOVE doing. If you've never had any social coaching, never heard of social coaching, or just want to be more relevant on social media for ANY reason.....I HIGHLY recommend Facebook/Instagram following Adventure Social, John-Erik Moseler, and #TalkNerdyToMe. I've learned so much in just a month, and it's all been such a big help with my social media presence. I suck at being social on the interwebs....it's never really been my thing. But, this is how today's society communicates, and I run a business. So, I have to stay as relevant as I can.

   Anywhoo...
I had so much excitement in the last week that I can't wait to ramble about.
First, I want to say something quick about my morning. Went to Starbucks to pick up my free Venti Quad Iced White Mocha with Coconut Milk that I ordered from my app. As I was walking in, there was a little guy, probably about 2 - 2 1/2, standing on the other side of the door waiting for his mom. I waited until she was at the door to open it, and I held it open as the little dude walked under my arm. He stopped, looked up at me and smiled, and said "Thank you!" in the CUTEST little voice. I smiled and said you're welcome, and then praised his mom. How many toddlers know to thank a stranger for holding a door!? Not a lot of them, that's for sure. These days, most of the toddlers I see are super naughty in public, and go tearing ass out of a door as soon as it's opened. I hope that mother felt the sincerity in my praise, because she deserves it. It totally made my day.

One of the most exciting parts of my week was seeing Sabastian three times during the last week! Mind you, I haven't seen him for more than two minutes since I moved him into college at the end of August, just three weeks after his 18th birthday. I wasn't ready for that, and then went months without my sweet boy. It was hell, and I'm still not ready for it, but seeing him has felt so good! First, the little shit surprised me at Dominic's JV Regionals tournament last Saturday. He snuck up behind me and when I turned around to see who was following me, he was standing there smiling. Oh, the tears! Then on Tuesday, we helped him move all of this things into his new dorm. We picked him up on Friday and he has been home since. We only have today and tomorrow left with him for a bit, and I wish he could stay forever, but wrestling practice and college are his life and he has to go back to his dorm tomorrow night. Hopefully we'll see him again next weekend when we go to Dominic's State Wrestling Tournament!!!
That's right, my baby boy made it to the State JV Tournament last weekend! We are SO over the moon excited for him! So next weekend, we will be at Wausau West High School watching him compete in a big and super exciting tournament. My nerves will be shot! Thank goodness for my CBD to help keep me a little calmer!
On top of that, he was also able to compete in a varsity tournament this weekend, and placed 7th! This was his first varsity tournament, and the only matches he lost were to two of his teammates because they're all the same weight. One of them is his best friend, and the only person to beat him last weekend when they both qualified for state. So even cooler, he's going to state with his best friend 😊
Jasmine didn't do anything super exciting to rave about this week, but we love her just the same!

I think I'm done typing for now. My office is chilly and I don't care for it anymore today. Perhaps I'll have some kind of ramblings in the next few days. If not, eventually I'll have something to say. Until next time peeps...
