Spillin' the Beans

  I just don't get it.... How does a person create a life, care for it for a bunch of years, and then all of a sudden decide to stop forever? How is it even possible to stop loving your child??? I mean, don't get me wrong, they can be a real pain in the ass! But I can't even imagine not wanting them for a minute, let alone forever.  If you saw my Facebook live, you know what I'm talking about. If not, you're about to get an ear full. Errrr.... an eye full?  -So, Dominic graduates this Friday. Yup, he's all grown up already. Sad times, I know. Well, Dom has always been the perfect child with a perfect attitude and perfect grades.   I totally intended on writing the other day, but I opened the page, went blank, and got horribly sidetracked by the Today Show. But, better late than never, right?  I've been doing pretty well with my 2019 goals so far. Well, as well as I can with the constant battle I've had going with my guts for the last six years. Some days are complete shit and I've started doing nothing but laying around on those days, which was part of my goal to relax more. I've also accomplished a lot of things that needed to be done for a few weeks, as well as things that I just had extra time to do.  Now today, I really have nothing on my list except for this, my calendar for the next week, and a little bit of the social coaching I started in December....that I LOVE doing. Oh hey! So yeah....it's been a really long time since I wrote about anything. About nine and a half months. Yeah, I suck at staying on task and finishing things. Someday I'll get better at it 😆 So it's the second day of the new year now. 2018 wasn't our greatest year here at Fort GrizzlyBeans. Lots of challenges, but also some pretty great changes. Sabastian graduated from high school, then he moved and started college. It was a really hard transition for me, but I am so proud of him! I built a business, and that's been very rewarding.  I've made money, built a team, and made some new friendships that I am so grateful for. I learned more than I could have ever imagined about every aspect of hemp and CBD. The plant, the science, and all of the medical journals about all of the success using cannabis to help with health.      I told you I'm really bad at sticking with things. I told you!  I have been thinking about posting for almost a week now, and my thoughts never turned into action. Instead, I've been keeping myself busy doing all kinds of things that make me happy, that I love. Bean tasks. Beansin' around. Lots and lots of mom stuff, like wrestling things and Letterman jacket construction. Text conversations with my kiddos, and plans for the future. Also, tons of plant things. I've got hundreds of seeds started for my summer gardens. That's exciting! Some of them have sprouted already, and that makes me smile.               Those are things I do to stay happy and make my days go by as quickly as possible because I spend my days at home alone. And that my friends, is very quiet and boring. I'm a social person, and I hate being alone all the time, but my body keeps me isolated with all of it's ridiculously rude drama.    I get my best ideas while I'm in the shower. Well, they seem pretty fantastic when I'm thinking up said ideas. In this case, this is an idea I've thrown around for a while. That's right, for like two months...shower after shower, I've been thinking, " What a great day it would be to start a blog with some of the random and hilarious thoughts I have." I typically proceed to think of random things that I can share, that sound entertaining or informative, until I am out of the shower and fully dressed.
